Cyberheart [Extra 1] Public Release

Hello there!

I was thinking that I would do just one or two custom renders for Christmas and New Year - but I have decided against it, because after all, it's THE FIRST ANNIVERSARY OF CYBERHEART, BABY! I will walk you through contents first and then have a few words at the end of the post. This extra chapter consists of:

  • 56 renders freshly baked in Blender
  • Some animations and some surprises
  • 3 original songs
  • 8 sound effects
  • New translations (Portuguese and partially translated in German too)
  • New UI elements

I chose this project over custom renders for a refreshing change and to hone my skills for an upcoming full game in Blender. So, here I am, bringing you a mini-chapter full of Meredith's untold story!

I just want to say that I'm deeply grateful for the incredible people I've met during Cyberheart's creation. I still remember the first day of this server, we have only 8 people in here. Those 8 are namely: Mei, Kvout, Charlie, Acid, Snip, Grey, Mibs, and Gezo. You are the people who have helped me from the very beginning - providing me with supports when I was a nobody. You, among other folks, are what makes Cyberheart possible in the first place. Your support has been pivotal in my growth as an artist and as a developer, filling it with amazing moments.

That's not to say that I forget about everyone else. Please don't think that I don't remember about the kind words as well as the suggestions you've given me. I do read them and while I might not be expressive, do know that I'm thankful for them.  Thank you, everyone, for everything.  As we continue this adventure together, I'm eager to see what the future holds for us.

- Yours sincerely,

DiPeppo

Snap, I'm going to take a look. Thanks for your report!

Edit: Alright, so you would need to delete 2 files: buttons.rpy and buttons.rpyc in the following directory - game/scripts/gui. I'm not sure how that got duplicated but yeah, it should be this fix!

Weirdly those 2 files don’t even exist in the game/scripts/gui directory, I tried launching without any of the localisation folders, that works but obviously missing extras button and maybe else I didn’t catch.

Then I moved the English localisation button files into the general folder, that works best as it has the Extras button and probably shouldn’t cause any more issues.

Thank you for the response, and for making Cyberheart, you’re doing amazing with it. :)

Note: I was on version 0.3 previous to updating via replacing the files in the 0.3 directory with this updates files.

Hmmm interesting. I will note this and circle back on this - hopefully I can reproduce the error and get it fixed once and for all. Thank you so much again for reporting this, and I also appreciate the kind words. :D
